Paralympic Qualification Regatta
Szeged will host the 2024 European Rowing Championships & European Olympic and Paralympic Qualification Regatta from 25 till 28 April 2024.

On behalf of the Hungarian Rowing Association, we would like to welcome you to the 2024 European Rowing Championships and European Olympic & Paralympic Qualification Regatta. We are honoured to welcome the best European rowers and para rowers and host this significant event at the Maty-ér National Canoeing and Rowing Olympic Centre.
Hosting the European Rowing Championships is a unique opportunity for Rowing in Hungary, an important milestone after Hungary organised senior European Rowing Championships twice in the past: the last time only for women in Tata 54 years ago the European Rowing Championships on the river Danube in 1933.
We hope to provide excellent racing conditions to the athletes in their quest of Olympic dreams on their road to Paris.

Regatta Venue
The name of Szeged is well known in the international canoeing world, as their world championships, world cups keep returning to this venue. In 1989 it hosted the FISA World Junior Championships, and since then the venue has undergone several upgrades to gain its current shape.
